TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – A former Vigo Count School Corporation employee will be sentenced for his crimes Thursday.

A jury convicted Franklin Fennell of wire fraud and stealing federal funds as part of a kickback scheme that he participated in along with another former corporation employee and former sheriffs deputy Frank Shahadey.

Fennell could be sentenced to as much as 37 months in federal prison when he appears before a judge.
