INDIANA – The sentence of a Terre Haute man on felony charges of intimidation and stalking has been upheld by the Indiana Court of Appeals.
As part of a plea agreement, 59 year old Timothy Hartwell pleaded guilty but mentally ill to stalking and intimidation.
He was sentenced last year to 12 years for stalking and four years on the intimidation charge.
Hartwell appealed the sentence, but the court said that the sentence was appropriate.
The original crime occurred in 2014.
