TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – Just one day after the Terre Haute Police Department laid a fallen officer to rest they held a special ceremony on Thursday to honor all officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.

Each year, the police department holds a special ceremony called “The Fallen Officer Ceremony” at the department headquarters.

Just one day before Officer Rob Pitts was added to the list.

The Terre Haute Police Department has lost a total of 13 officers in the line of duty,
