INDIANA – County by county unemployment numbers for April have been released.
Here in the Wabash Valley:
#1 Vermillion from 5.6% to 4.8%
#6 Sullivan from 4.6% to 3.9%
#9 Greene County 4.4% down to 3.7%
#11Vigo 4.1% to 3.6%
#21Parke 3.7% to 3.4%
#33 Clay County 3.6% to 3.1%
#37 Putnam from 3.4% to 3.1%
Dubois, Elkhart and Lagrange counties had the lowest unemployment in the state at 2%
