VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – A Terre Haute man accused of murder has been returned to Vigo County.

55 year old Kenneth Pitts Junior was found back in May at a Nevada campsite.

He was booked into the Vigo County Jail Saturday night and will appear in court Monday.

He is accused of killing Alice Anita Oswald.

Oswald turned up missing last November and a few months later her body was found in an eastern Vigo County pond.

Pitts faces charges of murder, arson, and more.

He is currently being held without bond.
