INDIANA – The price of gas will be going up again if only just a little.
Starting July 1st, you’ll be paying 1-cent more in tax per gallon of gas across Indiana.
You’ll remember the 10-cent gas tax hike passed by state lawmakers.
It was part of a package of tax and fee increases to upgrade the state’s roads and bridges.
The state fuel tax rose went up from 18 cents to 28 cents per gallon last July with the option to go up 1 cent each year after that.
