BRAZIL, Ind.  – A boil order is in effect for a large portion of Clay County, Ind. after a water main break overnight in Brazil.

The break of the 12 inch main happened near the intersection of Walnut and Pinckley Streets.

The boil order is in effect for all water utility customers in Brazil, Carbon, Centerpoint, Harmony, and Knightsville.

The boil order will remain in place until further notice.
