TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Saturday night just before midnight Terre Haute Police were called to the area of 4th and Demining Streets on a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived the found a male in the area with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to an area hospital.
Then Sunday afternoon police and the Special Response Team served a search warrant at 1418 South 7th Street.
According to the Terre Haute Police Department Facebook page, the search warrant was in regards to the shooting earlier.
No other details have been released.
