CLAY COUNTY, Ind – Several Clay County towns will be received thousands of dollars in grant money from the state to help in road improvement projects.
The City of Brazil will receive nearly $750,000 from an Indiana Department of Transportation Community Crossings grant to pave city streets.
A list of streets to be repaved is being put together now.
Carbon, Center Point, Clay City and Knightsville also received grants ranging from $58,000 to nearly $300,000 to perform work on their roadways.
