CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind  – The Indiana Department of Transportation is reminding motorists to exercise caution with you are around their big yellow salt trucks.

With limited visibility and slick conditions it is important to remember to give the road trucks as much room as possible.

INDOT is out with full crews cleaning the roadways but they remind you that they will be out as long as it takes to clear U.S. highways and state routes. Each route takes 2-3 hours to complete with salt assisting in melting between passes.
