West Terre Haute Police Officer Sentenced

WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A West Terre Haute Police Officer was in court Wednesday on domestic battery charges.

Jonathan Stevens, Sr. was arrested for domestic battery in front of a minor.

Court records show he entered a guilty plea to disorderly conduct as part of a plea agreement and was sentenced to 180 days, but the judge suspended 174 days of that time to informal probation.

As for his future with the West Terre Haute Police Department that will be addressed by a board next week.

He is currently on unpaid administrative leave.
