TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A new Terre Haute city judge was sworn in Wednesday evening.

Judge Matthew Sheehan was appointed by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb to replace Chris Wrede who left the position earlier this year.

Several of his friends and family were on hand for the swearing-in ceremony.

Judge Michael Lewis gave Sheehan the oath of office while Judge John Roach performed the robing ceremony.
