MORGAN COUNTY, Ind – Wednesday just after noon, an Indiana State Police Trooper was working along Interstate 70 and noticed a white Range Rover traveling westbound near the 52-mile marker in violation of the Left Lane Law.
The vehicle was blocking traffic for several miles forcing other motorists to pass on the right. The Trooper stopped the vehicle and during the stop noticed some suspicious activity.
A search of the vehicle turned up 47-grams of heroin with an estimated street value of $4,000 dollars and 134-grams of marijuana with an estimated street value of $1,000 dollars.
The Trooper also discovered a handgun that was reported stolen from a Michigan gun store back in April of this year.
42 year old Shannon Hadley of Detroit, MI is facing several drug and firearm charges and is being held in the Morgan County Jail.
