VIGO COUNTY, Ind – The search is on again for a site for a new Vigo County Jail.

County commissioners say that several previous sites and some new sites are under consideration.

While a new site needs to be chosen it appears that there is some time to make a decision.

The former golf course behind the mall appears to still be in play as a possible location.

With a possible need to purchase property, that means that the county will have less to spend on other parts of the jail project.
