WASHINGTON, Ind. – A fire early Wednesday morning destroyed a barn turkey barn in Daviess County just south of Washington.
It is believed that 15,000 turkeys died in the fire.
The main building is a total loss and total damage estimates are around $1 million.
A cause of the fire has not been determined.
Fire crews were able to protect two other barns.
