SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. – Crews have started tearing down a Sullivan County restaurant destroyed by a fire.

The fire at the Kat-a-Korner Diner just south of Sullivan happened last month.

The restaurant’s owner is working on the design plans.

People in the area call the diner a community staple.

The goal is to have the new restaurant open by late spring.
