CLINTON, Ind – Saturday night (2/16/19) around 6:30 p.m., Clinton City Police Chief Billy MacLaren, requested the assistance of Indiana State Police in connection to a death investigation of a unknown female that was located in the Wabash River near Riverside Cemetery within Clinton City limits.

At this time, the initial investigation is indicating there are no signs of foul play.

Vermillion County Coroner Roger Lewis says that the female has been identified as 56 year old Jeanne L. Stern of Clinton.

The cause and manner of death is pending toxicology results and the review of the final autopsy report.
