TERRE HAUTE, Ind. The Terre Haute Police Department is partnering with Facebook to provide a new feature called “Local Alerts”. 

Local alerts enable the THPD to provide the community with time-sensitive, essential information.

The posts will be marked as local alerts when they contain information that police believe people need to know.
