TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A plea deal has been for an Indianapolis in connection to the fatal shooting of 18 year old Donovan Clinkscales of Indianapolis
The shooting happened at a party during Indiana State University homecoming festivities in 2015.
22 year old Khalil Davis was originally charged with two counts of criminal recklessness for firing a gun outside of a home on South 13 1/2 Street.
In court Davis pleaded guilty to one count of criminal recklessness.
Even with credit for time served he faces over three years in prison.
He will be sentenced on April 1.
