VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – A trial date has been set for a Vigo County teen accused in connection to the death of his friend during a party last year.

20 year old Nathan Derickson faces charges of reckless homicide and maintaining a common nuisance for allegedly shooting and killing 17 year old Garrett Sands in March 2018 during a party in Idle Creek Subdivision.

In court Monday a jury trial date was set for March 19th.
