TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute City Council committee will consider a proposal that would update animal care regulations in town.
The Terre Haute City Council discussed the ordinance at a meeting Thursday night.
The 34-page proposal addresses pets and how long and under what conditions they can be outside, the definitions for agricultural animals and companion animals.
It also includes new rules for beekeeping within city limits.
There will be a public committee meeting on this proposal Thursday March 14th at 5:00 p.m. in Terre Haute City Hall.
