Wanted Vigo County Man Arrested This Weekend In Putnam County

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind – Saturday Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies were called about a suspicious vehicle in Groveland at the Gas station that had been parked there for several hours. The caller believed the occupants were doing drugs. The suspect vehicle left the area but was stopped by Putnam County Deputies who were assisted by Indiana State Police and Bainbridge Police.

The driver of the vehicle, 39-year-old Travis Webb, was found to have a suspended driver’s license and an arrest warrant out of Vigo County.

The passenger was in possession of a pipe used for smoking Meth, a second pipe for marijuana and a small amount of marijuana stored in a container. The passenger was given two criminal misdemeanor citations and released.

Jail records show that Webb is currently being held in the Vigo County Jail for driving while intoxicated endangering a person.

He will appear in court today (3/25/19).
