TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Two of four people arrested and facing up to 18 charges in connection to a drug laced candy investigation made court appearances Monday.

Police say that Xanax-laced gummy candy was taken by area school children.

Their investigation led authorities to 2476 E. Quinn Avenue, Lot 8 on March 20th where officers found drugs, drug making materials and several weapons.

20-year-old Dyllon Ware pleaded not guilty.

19-year-old Maizie Rogers pleaded not guilty and asked for a bond reduction.  Her aunt, Susan Lynn Roshel reportedly offered her home for collateral for bond and said she would not let Rogers out of her site until her case was resolved.  The judge will rule later the request.

The other two defendants in the case, 20-year-old Levi Dowden and 21-year-old Orville Anderson Jr., will appear in court today.
