INDIANA – County by county unemployment results have been released by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.

Unfortunate Vermillion County tops the list with the highest unemployment rate at 7%.

 

How other local counties placed on the list :

Green County in 5^th place at 5.8%

Sullivan County in 8^th place at 5.5%

Vigo County is in 9^th place also at 5.5%

Parke County is in 18^th position at 4.8%

Clay County is in 23rs place at 4.6%

Putnam County is in 41^st position at 4.3%

 

The county with the lowest unemployment rate is Hamilton County at 3.1%
