PARKE COUNTY, Ind – A fatal fire early this morning near the Vigo Parke County line.

According to our partners at News 10, the fire is believed to have started around 5:00 a.m. at 10191 Sherfick Lane which is west of Rosedale.

There were two fires, one in the home and another in a nearby garage.

Some people did escape but one person did not.

Investigators are on scene trying to determine a cause.

The name of the person who died has not been released.
