VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – Vigo County Commissioners approved a first reading Tuesday morning that would allow off-highway vehicles on county roads.

If eventually passed, the ordinance would ATVs on county roads, but the driver would have to be licensed and at least 18 years old and have insurance.

The vehicle would also need to be registered with the state.
