VIGO COUNTY, Ind – Thursday evening (12/12/19) around 11:30 p.m., Trooper Brad Fyfe spotted a gold Buick passenger vehicle, traveling on US41 south of Poplar Street at 50 mph in a 30 mph zone.

After pulling over Trooper Fyfe identified the driver as 21-year-old Kenneth J. King of Fort Wayne.

Trooper Fyfe immediately detected suspicious activity.

A search of King’s vehicle discovered a stolen handgun and marijuana.

King was also wanted out of Clark County for possession of marijuana.

King was taken into custody and is being held in the Vigo County Jail on charges of:

• Theft of Fire Arm, Level 6, Felony
• Possession of Marijuana,  Class A Misdemeanor
