VIGO COUNTY, Ind –  Tuesday morning Vigo County Clerk Brad Newman held a press conference to address how vote centers will be sanitized and clean for voters during the pandemic.

There will be a total of eight vote centers located around the county including the three high schools. These sites were selected so that they would be big enough to allow for proper distancing.

Newman said that there would be continuous cleaning on election day. The voting stylus would be cleaned after each use and they have ordered several extra styluses for voters.

He added that the clerk’s office has arraigned for the court house to be fogged and sanitized every week.
