VIGO COUNTY, Ind – The Vigo County School Board meets this evening starting at 6:00 p.m.
On the agenda is a discussion about returning the high schools to semester scheduling from the current trimester system.
Also, on the agenda will be the purchase of student Chromebooks, bonds to cover cash flow needs brought on by the pandemic, book rental fees for the next academic year.
The board will be asked to approve Donna Wilson as the chief financial officer. She had previously been employed with the district for 22 years, serving 12 years as the CFO.
The meeting will be streamed live on the VCSC Facebook page, and some board members may attend via teleconferencing. Members of the public will not be permitted in person due to the pandemic.
