Two Women Arrested For Allegedly Making And Passing Counterfeit Money

PARKE COUNTY, Ind – Around 12:30 p.m. Monday Parke County Deputies arrested two people for allegedly passing counterfeit money.

Police say that several businesses in Rockville, Rosedale and Bellmore area had all been passed the fake money by two women.

Officers arrested 23-year-old Alissa L. Hale of rural Rosedale and 36-year-old Chasity A. Combs of rural Rosedale on several charges.

Deputies executed a search warrant at their residence on Baldwin St, in northern Vigo County.

Officers recovered a large amount of counterfeit currency, scanners, printers and other items used in the manufacture of counterfeit currency.

Both are being held on $15,000 bond.
