“The purpose of this grant opportunity is to quickly and effectively grant resources to community-based organizations best positioned to meet the emerging needs resulting from the crisis,” explained Dale White, CEO for the Vermillion County Community Foundation.  “The grant dollars will go to any organization including but not limited to healthcare, education, business or non-profit, that understand the need and can support local residents and families who are most affected by emergency health, economic, and social impact of the COVID-19 virus.”  While the grants will not be to individuals, White explained that it will be funding non-profits or other entities, who can then provide people and families with services and support right here in Vermillion County.

Organizations may apply for a maximum of $5,000 and can reapply two weeks after a previous grant disbursement.  Grant applications are reviewed weekly.
