Inmate At Federal Prison in T.H. Dead

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — An inmate at the federal pen in Terre Haute died Saturday. Prison workers say in a press release that Jonathan Powers was acting odd and evaluated by medical staff at the prison. He was then taken to a hospital nearby. It was while he was being taken there that EMS personnel say Powers lost consciousness and and they started trying to revive him. He was pronounced dead once they got to the hospital. The FBI is looking into his death. They are not saying anything about what may have caused it. Powers was serving time for drug charges.
