Posey County, Indiana – A murder suspect wanted in Colorado was arrested in Posey County following a high speed chase.

Shawnathan Deangelo Chance, 26, of Dunn, North Carolina, was arrested by Indiana State Police on Friday morning.

The chase began when a State Trooper saw a car traveling very fast on I-64 near the 7 mile marker. The vehicle was clocked at 86 mph.

When the trooper attempted to stop the driver, the vehicle sped up and then rolled, coming to rest in an open field.

The driver, Chance, was not injured and was arrested for probable cause for a Colorado murder on Thursday.

He is being held in the Posey County Jail and is to be turned over to Colorado authorities.
