Merom, In. – Friday a Sullivan County Deputy observed a truck being driven by Artie Grimes who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  The Deputy attempted to pull the tuck over, but Grimes took off at a high rate a speed through Merom, driving through multiple yards. The vehicle came to a stop in the front yard of a residence where Grimes left the truck and a foot pursuit ensued.  Grimes ran into a house to hide but was ultimately arrested by Deputies. Grimes is charged with resisting law enforcement along with the outstanding warrant.
