Vigo County – An investigation by the Indiana State Police and Indiana State University Police Department led to the issuance of a search warrant for a residence in Terre Haute.
On Wednesday, around 8:30 p.m., a 19-year-old woman was seen in the 200 block of Farrington Street in Terre Haute attempting to purchase marijuana from two males in a vehicle.
The woman got into the car on the passenger’s side.
A man got out of the car and displayed a handgun.
It was reported that he told the woman the price of marijuana has gone up but the woman refused to pay, according to a news report from police.
The male driver then began to drive away with the woman still in the vehicle. She was able to escape from the moving vehicle, with the two men fleeing from the area.
