PIERSON – Arson has been ruled out in a fire that heavily damaged Thompson Diesel Service, 12525 S. Singhurst St. on Saturday.

Seven fire departments were called to the scene, a Pierson Fire Department spokesman told media.

The fire progressed to a large attic area hat hindered fire suppression.
