DUGGER— A Linton woman was arrested on drug charges Saturday after allegedly throwing away a bag containing crystal meth while talking to Dugger Town Marshal Billy Snead during a traffic stop.

She is also accused of tossing a bag of marijuana under his police vehicle.

Stacy Bowers, 46, Linton was charged with:
● Possession of Methamphetamine over 10 grams, but under 28 grams, Level 4 Felony
● Possession of Marijuana, Class B Misdemeanor and
● Cited for having no operator’s license.

She was arrested and taken to the Sullivan County Jail without incident.
