TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) – A new aquatic center could be coming to Terre Haute’s east side. The Vigo County Capital Improvement Board met this morning and plans have been laid out for the project.

The aquatic center would go inside Deming Park. This project would most likely go over the already-in-place Deming Park Pool. Additions to the area would include a second pool and a lazy river.

Other outdoor venues were discussed and prioritized with the aquatic center leading the list. Those venues were a community recreation fieldhouse and an outdoor sports complex.
