Terre Haute, In. – It was a long time coming but the Larry Bird Museum located inside the Terre Haute Convention Center opened its doors to the public on Friday.  A steady crowd visited the Museum on Friday and through the weekend. On display in the museum is memorabilia from throughout Larry’s career from his days as an ISU Sycamore to his retirement from The Boston Celtics.  There are also activities for visitors of all ages.  The Museum is free, but reservations must be made in advance online before attending.  You can make reservations at the Larry Bird Museum Website. larrybirdmuseum.com
