Driver runs through red light and Hits a Mack Truck

Terre Haute, In. – The intersection of 13th and Crawford was the scene of a three-vehicle crash Monday morning which involved a commercial truck.  According to police reports 59-year-old William Goodwin of Terre Haute pulled out of a line of traffic to run a red light and crashed into a Mack Commercial Truck. Goodwin said he was driving to work and the next thing he remembers is waking up with the EMT’s working on him. A witness said it looked as if Goodwin may have been unconscious when his vehicle looped through a fence and yard then smacked the Mack Truck. The truck driver was not injured and was able to drive the truck from the scene. Goodwin was taken to the hospital for treatment to injuries he received in the crash.  Goodwin faces a charge of criminal recklessness.
