Marshall, Il. – The citizens of Marshall, Illinois are mourning the loss of retired police officer Stacey Speros. Speros was a 20-year veteran of the Marshall Police Dept. Speros had been battling stomach cancer and retired from the Marshall Police Dept. In May of 2022.  Speros also was a school resource officer.  According to a post by the Marshal PD Speros is remembered as kind man, good friend and left a positive impact on the community.
