Terre Haute, In. – The Vigo County Council voted Tuesday to allow a tax abatement forwho had requested the abatement earlier this year.  Zinkpower will bring 100 full time jobs to the county.  The Tax Abatement vote wasn’t unanimous passing with 4-3 vote.  Aaron Loudermilk, Nancy Allsup and David Thompson voted against the tax abatement. The Abatement is prorated which means it will decrease every year during the next 10 years. The company plans to begin construction as soon as possible.
