Terre Haute, In – After a report of a cat being lured away from its home The Terre Haute Polie Department began an investigation. The police were shown a home surveillance video of a man luring the cat.  The investigation led to 37-year-old Kevin Hollingsworth.  Hollingworth was arrested for theft and criminal conversion. Social media posts raised concerns of a person taking cats to be used as snake food. Hollingsworth says he doesn’t own a snake, he was attempting to trap and release stray animals. The cats that were taken have not been found and supposedly were released on the outskirts of town.  Hollings with as been issued ordinance violations by City Code Enforcement for failing to properly notify authorities of a stray animal.
