Sullivan County, In. – A decrease in Sullivan’s County’s assessed value and enrollment decreases has impacted the Sullivan County Southwest School Corporation.  As a cost-saving measure the corporation has had to lay off 16 employees.  The school board made the final decision Friday.  They announced the cutting of 4 teachers and   12 instructional aides.  Other cost-cutting measures will affect instructional subscriptions, and some of the maintenance/custodial services provided by Sodexo. There also will be savings in administration.
