Brazil, In. – Jon McGuff accepted a plea deal in his Clay County Murder trial last Friday.  McGuff Plead Guilty to voluntary manslaughter.  The plea agreement calls for a 20-year prison sentence. His murder trial was set to begin on Monday.  McGuff had been charged with murder in the shooting death of William Matherly in Brazil.  McGuff still has felony charges pending in Putnam County. He’ll be sentenced in Clay County on August 21.
