Terre Haute, In. – The U.S. Department of Justice has sentenced Joshua Schatz to federal prison after he was sentenced for sex crimes involving minors. After a guilty plea for possession of child sexual abuse material Shatz will serve 10 years after which he will be on 15 years of supervised release. Back in February 2023 the Indiana State Police received a tip that Schatz had had sent computer-generated images of child sexual abuse material to another person. The DOJ said the images showed children being raped by adult men. Police also found text messages Schwartz sent describing inappropriate activity he wanted to perform with kids that he knew. The DOJ said he was already a registered sex offender from a 20216-conviction involving a child under 14.
