Terre Haute, In. – Entek has announced that a $1.2 billion loan will finance the building and startup of their new battery component manufacturing facility in Vigo County.  According to Vice President of US Plant operations Jennifer Stock Entek the plant will not just manufacture batteries but will bring new opportunities to the county such as buying locally and hiring locally. This project will create approximately 750 construction jobs and 650 long-term operations jobs.
