Clay County, In. – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office reports that a man was injured in a single vehicle crash on State Road 59 near the intersection with Barret Drive Monday. The driver was partially trapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle by Firefighters.  Due to his serious injuries, he was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Indianapolis.  The driver was alone in the vehicle.  The name of the driver has not been released and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
