Victim Identified In Clay County Grain Bin Accident

Cory, In. – Late Monday night The Cory Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a grain bin entrapment on West County Road 350 South near Cory.  When they arrived the tractor and auger were still running but they couldn’t find the victim.  After cutting holes in the side of the bin to let the grain out, they recovered the body of 79-year-old Gerald Reagin of Cory.  Assisting the Cory Fire Department were Clay County Sheriff’s Department, The Clay County Coroner, STAR Ambulance and fire departments from Clay City, CenterPoint, Posey Township, Lewis Township, Riley and Pierson Township.
