Terre Haute, In. – In recent weeks many run down, condemned and blighted property in the city have been cleaned up by the city.  The work is being done though aa partnership with Thrive West Central.  Mayor Sakbun says that at the beginning of the year 200 properties were designated for destruction and clean up.  The city hopes to have 65 done by the end of the year.  Mayor Sakbun says the city also has plenty of homes it is rehabbing this year. It’s also helping to build new homes on those empty lots as well.
